According to a media outlet, KBS decided to ban Jung Suk Won from appearing in their network, while temporarily suspending Kwang Ji HwanŌĆÖs appearance. KBS has designated ŌĆ£acts that have caused social controversy through illegal or immoral actsŌĆØ as the subject of the review of regulations on broadcasting appearances. Jung Suk Won was indicted on charges of taking methamphetamine (also known as meth) and sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspension. Kang Ji Hwan is currently on trial for charges of quasi-rape and quasi-indecent acts by compulsion. He is suspected of having a drink with two female staff A and B in July last year, then entering the room where they were sleeping, and sexually assaulting A while sexually harassing B. The first and second trials sentenced Kang Ji Hwan to two and a half years in prison with a three-year suspension, but he recently submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court. Other celebrities who have been banned from the network include Kang Sung Wook, Han Ji Sun, Kim Byung Ok, and Robert Harley. Source (1)
