The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) released the 2022 Annual Circle Chart. This particular chart uses the data compiled from January 1st to December 10th reviews which songs became a hit and the musical trend of this year. The K-pop category showed a strong performance by 4th-generation K-pop girl groups such as IVE and NewJeans, as well as K-pop powerhouses such as BTS and BLACKPINK. IVE, who took first place in the digital song category, ranked first with ŌĆ£LOVE DIVE.ŌĆØ They also put ŌĆ£ELEVENŌĆØ and ŌĆ£After LIKEŌĆØ in 6th and 9th places, achieving a triple hit. BLACKPINK also showed their power ŌĆō ŌĆ£PINK VENOMŌĆØ (2nd), Shut Down (7th) and LisaŌĆÖs solo song ŌĆ£MONEYŌĆØ (8th). BTSŌĆÖs ŌĆ£DynamiteŌĆØ (3rd) and ŌĆ£ButterŌĆØ (4th) were also seen, proving the songsŌĆÖ long-lasting popularity. Then there was NewJeanŌĆÖs ŌĆ£Hype BoyŌĆØ in 10th place.
